I used to get notified when I had a new incoming PM. I no longer get that. Is there a setting I need to set up or is this not available anymore?
Thanks

By get notified do you mean the welcome message that use to appear above? That's no longer there (for page caching reasons) but if you have a PM it will show up in the far upper right as something like "inbox (1)" and it changes color.

is there an option to receive PM alerts to my email account?
I do not get alerts sent to my email. If I have a new PM, the only way I know this is to log into one of the kit maker networks and see the blinking word or envelope icon

Years back it was set up so that Homer Simpson would say "mail call, gather round everyone" (or something like that) when you logged in and you had a new message.
I always thought that was cool.
