Ok Guys -
I am creating a diorama as a tribute to an Uncle of mine, who served 32 missions in the 384th BG. He was an Crew Chief/Top Turret Gunner and flew on multiple
aircraft. He won the DFC, Air Medal (3) w/Oak Leaves.
I am looking for a number of things: 1) Pictures of the nose art from at least two of the
B-17Gs : Tremblin' Gremlin, Fiklwitch, and/or Bird Dog. All these flew in the 544th Sqn.
2) Some way to generate the sound of a B-17G in flight....This will come from speakers at
the base of the dio.
Thanks for your time.

Im not the biggest bomb group expert so bear with me.

There are some photo books on the 8th Air Force by Roger A Freeman that have some pretty good photos in there that may be able to assist you.

I found this link on the 384th BG
that has many photos on it of crew, planes, etc. Here is a link to some warbird sounds. Scroll down to the bottom and click on B-17, it is a flyby. http://www.jacksonharrison.co.uk/BoB2/Downloads/Sounds.htm
The LQ mean low-quality so dont click on that one

Hope this helps.
