Hi,
I have joined this list because I am trying t help my brother sell a model wooden ship that he built and he does not have internet access. He lives in West VA, I am in MD.
He built a model of the Royal Caroline 1749, which was from a Panart kit (ART 750 ??). I have pasted a link below to a gallery of photos of this model that I took for him. Given the quality of workmanship and level of detail, what is the best forum in which to sell a model like this ship? I do not think eBay is the place as there are too many items of lesser quality that are far cheaper than what my brother believes this ship is worth. Speaking of which, how could I get an appraisal of its fair value.

Thanks for any help.

He's done a splendid job on it, but I honestly would not be able to give an honest appraisal to its valve on the open market. But thanks for sharing his work with us.

Thanks
Any idea where (ie a website) or who might be able to provide such an appraisal?
