Just curious if there are anyone else out there with this condition, and how it's affecting your modelling?

My colorblindness is unfortunately in the brown-green range (great when you modell military vehicles). I once mistook a jar of Humbrol 98 for a jar of Humbrol 86, ending my up with a chocolate brown AMTRAC...

This is also why I when asking colors always ask for specific paint numbers...

If I remember correctly, when Lee Lloyd built his amazing Tiger with all the interior, he was a little apprehensive about painting, because he said he was colour blind as well. Ive seen some of his finished works ... didn´t appear to be a problem for him. You are in good company then.

Hi Thomas. I'm colorblind as well in the brown-green and blue-green range. Some NATO camo schemes look almost monotone to me. I always go by the paint number on the bottle and never what the color look like to me.

I'm green/brown colorblind also so it's painting by numbers when it comes to 3-tone camo schemes etc. That's why I do a lot of sand colored vehicles!
