I was just reading about Jenny being barred from Tanks-and-Things, which up until now seemed like a site that was going somewhere. Maybe it will continue on, maybe not. There have certainly been a lot of sites for modelers that have come and gone over the past 9 years. I am just happy that we have been able to weather our own storms. When I was thinking about this I realized that Armorama is probably one of the few sites out there that didn't start 'from' something else. There are so many sites out there that seemed to be 'forks' of other sites. Members get peeved and split off of a site to form a new community. I guess it must be human nature to migrate around? Not sure about that. What I do know is that we aren't going anywhere. And even though sometimes our members are quiet (ie: not all of them are using the forums) they are still coming back in huge numbers. Both Armorama and KitMaker as a whole grew 20% in traffic over the past year. Not bad if I don't say so myself. And some of our other sites are growing even more. AeroScale for example is up 68% over the past year.

With Armorama going into it's 10 year of operation (on Dec 16th) I am happy to report all is well and we will likely be around for many more decades to come. I want to thank all our members, staff, and supporters for that.

Best wishes,
Jim

The last few years, I've been very quiet - but that doesn't mean I don't love the site(s) as much as I did from Day One.

Really doesn't seem like it has been ten years though, I must be getting old...

Yeah ditto here. Got a bunch of 'life' going on right now. Making forks of my own with colors so to speak.
Cheers for the first Decade! When does ZZ Top play?
