If anyone has some spare time on their hands (modelers with spare time? Yeah right...) I would love to see someone try to build one of these weird buggers. It doesn't seem like there's a lot to the vehicle...it's just weird as #!*@ and I've always been a sucker for the unusual ones. Anyone up to the task?
And as an aside, does anyone know how this thing would've been used?

I think it was designed and built as a prototype for George Lucas to use in one of the Star Wars movies !!

Jusy FYI, Attack Hobby Kits has a resin kit of the Kugelpanzer in 1/72 and 1/35 scales. I keep thinking about getting the 1/35 one.

A former EOD officer says that the kugelpanzer was most likely a suicide tank. It would be able to withstand small arms fire and would act as a fragmentation bomb if there was a explosive charge inside. Theory seems sound with Japan losing the war.
