A while ago I bought Tamiyas (Italeris) Staghound Mk.I on sale at HLJ. And today I thought I should start building it. But shortly I discover that the clear parts are missing.

So, if I now want a replacement part, who should I contact? The obvious would be HLJ, but it seams a little stupid since the kit is actually made in Europe, but as I understand, getting in touch with Italeri isn't an easy task.

So, what should I do?

Contact the mfr direct or the distributor for them in your region or country. Visit Italeri's website for customer service info.

I would say the same as Gerald. Tamyia costumer service here in the US would just send you the spruce that was missing. These manufactures actually want to keep us happy

You can contact Italeri via MRC. They cover several brands. I'm waiting on a couple of replacement pieces for an Italeri tank myself.

He's located in Sweden, not the USA or Canada...MRC probably will refer him to a distributor in his own corner of the world. Distributors don't appreciate having to support other distributors customers.

Thought I could give a little update. Have contacted Italeri and surprise, no answer yet. Have also contacted HLJ since the kit where bought from them, and have had bigger luck there, they are at least trying to find the missing parts for me.

Email Tamiya directly. A while back I bought a Tamiya model on ebay and it had a couple of parts missing. I shot them an email explaining the problem and about 3 weeks later I received a small box with my parts, free of charge.
