I just ordered the 1/48 Arado 196, and want to display it on a catapult. I've found a 1/32, and 1/72 scale, but no 1/48. The crux of my question: does anyone know of a 1/48 kit, or almost as good, a source for plans? as a last resort, photos of a KM catapult.

what you could check is the PE set from WEM for 1/350 Bismarck/Tirpitz. THey have pictures of the PE fret on their website. The lenght of the catapult is the width of the ship

i've also been after plans of catapults, ones used by walrus and hurricanes but havn't turned up anything yet.

there are diffent types of catapults, the long ones and the short ones (wow, that sound really like I am an expert )
