We are almost at the 100 subscriber mark and I would like to announce a new perk for those of you who opt to subscribe to KitMaker Network. Those who attend local or national contests know that modelers love to enter drawings or raffles. So each month we will be doing a drawing to give away a free kit to one of our subscribers. We will have a topic announcing the giveaway and show you what prizes will be up for selection by the winner. The drawing will be held each month on the first of the month. Each subscriber will be eligible to win once per year (no multiple wins in a single year.)
The drawing for November 1st will include:

Again to recap each month the winner will have a selection of kits they can choose from like this. We will announce the first winner on Monday. Good luck.
Thanks,
Jim

That's a great initiative Jim ! I am in a spot of quandary though, for the good of the Kitamker Network I hope it brings in more subscribers. For the good of my stash I hope it doesn't !!
Cheers, D

Jim,
This is a great idea. I'm happy to be a subscriber to this wonderful site. I've learned a lot of things here and really enjoy seeing what others are up to.
It is also nice your showing your appreciation to those who have subscribed!

there could be a thread where the winners show the built kits from the draw.

Nifty idea, Jim! I second the proposal that winners post built pics in a special thread, although that potentially dooms me to actually finishing something...

Hmmm, perhaps you should consult her further Jim. You might get talked into a weekly or even daily draw

This reminds me of the phone call I got the other day: "Hi, this is John Smith from the Las Vegas Lottery. You have won the jackpot!" Only this one here is real...
Great initiative, Jim, thanks!

I'm glad the response from existing subscribers has been so positive. I just wanted to let anyone thinking about subscribing know that we recently handed out #97 to our most recent subscriber which means there are only 3 spots left on the First 100 badge. I should (in fairness) point out that there will be a first 500 & 1000 group badge as well. But there will only be the original subscribers that can be in the first 100 (people dropping off will not bump you up in other words).

You can try Tom, and you might make it as far as #8, but you will NEVER make it past #007 !!
