I can never get to the IMSS meetings as I work every thursday, the IPMS meet on a saturday though don't they? When and where is the next meeting and I'll try to get to it.

As far as I know the next meeting is tomorrow from 11:30 to 1:30, upstairs in the Starbucks beside the Mayor Square stop of the Luas redline. That's down at the docklands.

Unfortunately, neither myself nor lisa will be able to make it this time.

Just seen this thread, so I know the reply is a little late for last Saturday.
Due to unforeseen circumstances (The Starbucks we used to meet at has closed down at short notice), the location for the IPMS Dublin meetings has
had to be changed to a new location for the moment.
The new venue is The Exchange Collective Arts Centre in Exchange Street Upper, Temple Bar, Dublin 2 and the next meeting will be on the 20th November 2010, 11:00 to 13:00.
If anyone wishes they can PM me here.

Thanks vertigo and Vincent. I'll try to get to the next meeting in Exchange house. What format do the meetings take? Do people bring models?

I've only been to one back in August. The format that day was one of the guys giving a very detailed review on whats available to do IDF aircraft: kits, AM and ref books with examples there to have a look. But I'm told this is not the normal. The rest was just a friendly chat about the hobby in general: likes, dislikes, what people are currently working on, whats coming out soon etc. Some people brought build up kits to show, some didn't...

I have to say I really enjoyed the 2 hours! Unfortunatly Saturdays are not normally free for me. Go Pat, you'll enjoy it

AFAIK it's on the 11th but its not a proper meeting as such, just meeting up in the Porterhouse on Parliament street at 11am to exchange seasons greetings and the like
