A new modeling club is now forming in the Madison, Wi area. The focus of this club is large scale planes, 1/35 and larger. If you are interested please send me a pm.
Happy Modeling

You can build whatever you want, cars, ships, planes, figures, dioramas and of course armor. I like variety in a club.

Mike, count me in too if meetings can be on the weekends. I like to eat & drink in Madison so it would make for a fun all around outing.

Do we need any affiliation at all?
I might be wrong, but if we start affiliations we will end up getting together just so we can spend an hour or two talking how great our last show was and how the next show will be awesome. Kind of getting sick of all that show talk... sorry...
As far as time and place goes I talked to Carl @ The Last Square awhile ago. He told me that on Sunday afternoons the store is usually empty.

The main reason to have an affiliation with lets say IPMS is for the insurance. The meetings will be on either the 3rd or 4th Saturday of the month. I am looking at a couple of locations in Verona for the meetings.
I will post more next week.

I am working with the Madison Hobby Stop for a meeting place. As soon as I get any information I will pass it along.

Sorry for not getting back and updating everyone but I have had some health issues that have prevented me from doing more with finding a meeting place. So as soon as I can I will update everyone on a meeting place.
Thanks

Hey Mike, i hope you're feeling better. Don't worry about finding a club site, take care of yourself first ! The club can wait until you're healthy. Get well soon ! Tom
