Any scale modelers in southeastern Kentucky? An interest in ships would be a big plus, but I'd be interesting in getting to know any others interested in our hobby in my area.

Skip, I'm in Harlan. Thinking about trying to form a scale modeling club here. Anything like that in Floyd County? (BTW, I was born and spent the first 12 years of my life in Johnson Co.)

Here is a link to the Military Modeler's Club Louisville. They have several members who travel from east of Louisville (called the Eastern Bloc) for the monthly meeting. If you use the contacts at the club's site, they will be able to put you in touch with those members. They may know of more modelers or even clubs in your area.

Hi Rob,
There is a fair number of folks in the Tri-Cities, but the clubs there kinda died out a few years ago. Knoxville has a fairly active group.
Regards,
fred

Would south central Kentucky(Edmonton area) be within reasonable proximity? My primary area of interest is aircraft, but I'm always willing to learn something different? Would float planes tickle your fancy?
