Hi all , I was wondering how many model shows you attend in a year and the time spent in attendance. For me it is about 10 shows per year and the longest time spent was at War and Peace show this year from Tuesday till Sunday . Cheers ian

I usually do between 8 and 10 shows a year. 2 are overnighters: IPMS Region 1 convention and Long Island Figure Show) , the rest all day affairs (arrive between 9 and 10 and leave after the awards). MFCA is a 2 nighter...arrive Friday noonish and leave Sunday morning. On the rare occasion I do the IPMS Nationals, that's a 3 nighter.

Used to be 5-6 here in New England, but things have changed aroudn the household and with kid's activities, my 'free' time is at a premium.
I won't make AMPS East this year, Granitecon is a maybe, and the AMPS nats are farther away and an off weekend from school vacation this year.
Maine is too far for the family for a day.
Still want to, but don't get as much time to build either so it's not like I have tons to enter.
i'll get back to it eventually.

As many as i can reasonably get to. The most important of which is of course - Telford Nationals, a 2 Day event. All of our club stay in the same B&B and it's kind of a club holiday!

Two or three a year.
In Belgium therea re many smaller events organised by local clubs or hobby stores.
The largest one is organised by the national IPMS chapter.
What I really miss is a big national event that could attract some decent attention to the hobby from the general public.

One, maybe two. I try to always go to the Fulton Model Car & Truck Show up in Volney, NY; and sometimes I go to the Syracuse IPMS show. As a "truck guy", Fulton is WAY better.

Only one, which is held here in my hometown by local modelers. Itīs small, one day show but has very warm and familylike athmosphere. Iīve also been one of the judges during last two years.

as many as I can get to. Usually 4 or 5. I try to make it to the IPMS national convention every year regardless if I have anything entered or not. It's just fun to attend and look at others work and shop. "Q"

I make it to about 3 each year. I would go to more but the Army usually finds a way to screw up my plans.
