This Friday September 24th AND Saturday September 25th! Now two full days of armor modeling sensory saturation! Less than a week to go!

The Northeast Military Modelers Association is proud to announce IPMS AMPSEast 2010.

Please go to www.ipmsnmma.org and click on “IPMS AMPSEast Show” for all information for the show. Flyer, schedule, times, seminars, forms and features are all listed for your download. We also have many special exclusive IPMS AMPSEast awards in addition to the “Best of”s; check our flyer for titles.

We have streamlined the AMPS registration process to a Master Sheet and Individual Entry Sheets that you can download from our website, print, and fill out in the comfort of your own home! Registration now only takes seconds! We have also separated the post – ’45 category into two: ColdWar ’46 – ’89; and Modern – 1990 – Present. This gives the post-war builders the same number of categories as the WWII guys.

IPMS AMPSEast is the largest armor model show in the East, featuring 80 vendor tables, 8 seminars, AMPS Judge’s Certification Class, and our famous monster raffle along with the IPMS AMPS model show and contest! This show just got so good we couldn’t fit it all into one day! Our vendors and attendees demanded more and we have delivered!

The show will be held Friday September 24th and Saturday September 25th, 2010, at the Danbury Plaza Hotel and Conference Center, 18 Old Ridgebury Rd., Danbury CT 06810. For attendees and vendors staying at the hotel the Danbury Plaza is pleased to offer a special show room rate. To receive the special rate, please call 203-794-0600 and identify yourself as being with IPMS AMPSEast.
As anyone who attended the 2007, 2008. Or 2009 show will attest, the Danbury Plaza Hotel is a first class venue with outstanding amenities. It is also conveniently located one exit from the Danbury Fair Mall and the Military Museum of Southern New England.

We have also worked with the Military Museum of Southern New England to make the show weekend "Open Turret Weekend" at the museum featuring re-enactors and allowing you to climb inside many of the vehicles at the museum. Friday and Saturday at IPMS AMPS East and Sunday at the museum would make for the ultimate treadhead's dream weekend!
We hope to see you at IPMS AMPSEast 2010 this Friday and Saturday! Be there!

I've been tagged, volunteered, drafted, shanghaied, impressed and otherwise induced to do seminar #6, figure painting, especially faces, in acrylics. Unfortunately, this may reduce the time I can judge.

Al I'm right behind you with seminar #7, and hope to catch some of your seminar. I'm hoping to try my hand doing figures soon.

See you all in a few days.

Cheers
Rob

Matt,Do you know if the vendor that was selling the cheap Friul tracks will be there? Those were a steal.

Hi Anthony,

I never got a chance to go through the vendor room last year once it was all set up!
I can tell you that all the vendors who sell Friuls will be back again this year, so the answer is yes.

Its been 1 year in the planning. Alot of changes since last year but still moving forward. Myself and the advance party of Nordland AMPS will be there sometime tomorrow. The main body arrives Friday morning, and the relief element will arrive Saturday. 2 full days of armor modelling madness.

Of course a visit to the Southern New England Military Museum is in store as well.

Cant wait to roll into Danbury !

Cheers

Robert
