Hi everyone

First and foremost Selamat Hari Raya to all Malaysians. It is an honour to be part of this community. I am new here and therefore would like to share any ideas/comments in any matters relating to the modelling world.

Without further ado I would like to share my idea for my first ever diorama. It is a Vietnam diorama called "Gotcha" which will feature a group of GIs interrogating 2 VC suspects in a raid. The completed diorama will hopefully consists of a Vietnamese hut and shed (scratchbuild), an M113 ACAV (Academy), modified figures (Dragon and Academy) and animals (Tamiya). I will keep you guys posted

Welcome aboard, looking foward to seeing the progress od your diorama. I am also an avid builder of vietnam war models. Make sure you post them in th armorama site under dioramas, You will get a lot of feedback and tips. Again welcome aboard.

I wish you much fun in this forum.
This theme you have chosen for a diorama, in my opinion, requires that the poses of the figures are very expressive, because the time required a "psychology of the poses."
I do not know much about the war in Vietnam. But I will say that the North virtnamítas (Charly) made underground galleries, and hid and went somewhere else. (Since the rabbits.) Guerrillas were very brave.
