Here's a treat; Mirage (from Poland) 1/400th scale u-boats. All include a photoetch set (also from Mirage, but no longer made!).

* U-803, Type IXC/40 (9C40), kit # 40044, at least 10 years old, but new in box. Comes with photoetch set#026 40044. Outstanding detail. These are the type w/cutaway bow for quicker dives. Of this type, 87 were commissioned, but only 20 were to be made by Deutshe Schiff und Machinenbau AG, Bremen. Only 6 were actually commissioned (U-801-U-806) & the rest either sunk, destroyed, or not completed. I have 20 of these, so some lucky modeler can make the entire class, or just buy 1 or 2. They ALL come with a photoetch set which are no longer available through the company that made them. $30/each ship w/PE.

* U-1064 type VIIC/41 (7C41), kit#40415, comes w/PE set # 014 40415. I have 2 of these @ $30/ each

* U-826 Type VIIC (7C), kit#40413, come w/PE set # 012 40413. I have 2 of these @ $30/each.
