Well, seriously speaking the parts are likely to be very small, and your fingers offer a much larger surface area in comparison for the CA to bond to. Which usually results in small PE parts sticking to your fingers.

For the same reason toast always lands butter-side down!
Well, if you want to be serious, I understand CA glue was first developed commercially as a battlefield alternative to stitches when closing wounds. It sticks especially well to wet flesh, and we're just pushing our luck using it to hold PE to plastic, or resin to anything...

Its great to get a laugh first thing to start the day off
I was assembling the extended turret basket on an M1A1 what a B' atch
I would like to take bottle of CA over to the manufacture and stitch up where the sun dont shine
