Hello,
I have tried painting faces on 1/35 figures using acrylics from the Lifecolor flesh paint set and Vallejo drying retarder. While the paint does remain blendable, after a few applications it takes off the paint all the way to the primer. Is this because Vallejo retarder and Lifecolor don't mix or maybe I'm not allowing for enough drying time in between applications. Although waiting for it to dry kinda defeats the purpose of using a retarder... Does anyone have experience using acrylics and retarder to blend paints and can they point me in the right directions? Thanks!
