Hi.

My name is Leslie, and I've never built a plastic model. I've built a few balsa models for C/L and rubber, but, never a plastic one. Here is a link to my very first foray into modelling:

http://www.rccanada.ca/rccforum/showthread.php?t=72139

Since hubby has opted to build plastic (exclusively it seems), I've decided to follow, and give it a try. I have none started yet, but, will bother hubby relentlessly until he helps me.

So, here I am! Leslie

G'day Leslie,

Welcome to Kitmaker Is Hubby a member here too?

BTW, nice work on that line control plane. Did you find the .049 was too underpowered for it? I used to sell the Cox motors about a decade ago in a previous life. Always tried to sell the customer an OS .10 instead. Twice the power, but you could always just throttle it back

Anyways, looking forward to seeing your work. I know the Canadian girls will be thrilled to hear another lady is here.

Thankyou Rudi

Its nice to be welcomed, makes me feel good.

Yes, hubby is a member (mtnflyer). He's working on his models right now, because I have the computer.

And I never did fly that C/L plane. In fact, the engine has never been started. That.s just the way it goes.

Hmmmm!
I see my wife has enlisted! And "End of Days" hasn't even officially started yet.

Welcome to the world of man dear, and please keep your hands off my stash. Only kids can cross the force field to get to it.
Buy your own.

Welcome to the site Leslie, I am sure you will find your feet soon enough.

Guy good luck with that as in my house I only wear the trousers as my wife knows who the boss is, and I don't mean me.

Thankyou Darren, I'm going to give it an honest try and see how I do.

Already, I've opened a box (Hasegawa Ki27) and find that for such a large bit of cardboard, there's really not that much in it. This looks like its going to be easy.
