I used to buy wood from the Lumberyard but I can no longer contact them. Does anyone know what happened to them? If they are gone, where can I get milled lumber? Specifically Swiss Pearwood, Apple, Yew and Beech. Any help will be very appreciated.

It might help if you put a location.
Of course you won'y find these woods at home depot, but most quailty lumber suppliers that cater to real cabinet makers should have or be able to order these for you.

The lumberyard I'm refering to is a web business - dlumberyard.com. They sell (or sold) a wide variety of specialty milled wood and other scratch build supplies. Their physical location is somewhere in Ohio. Their selection was so wide that I've never developed a backup supplier - didn't think I needed one. If you wanted to buy 2mm x 5mm applewood for planking a hull where would you get it? Any recommendations would be welcomed.
