I'm going to be at a military course at Ft. Knox Kentucky 25 June to 9 July.
Are there any hobby shops near Ft. Knox?

Give me a holler and we can meet up. There are two hobby shops, one down in Elizabethtown, about 22 miles from post. He mainly carries high priced current hot kits, usually just one copy. He often has vintage kits acquired through estate sales. Sometimes he lists them for a song, other times he has them insanely priced.
Another very good hobby shop is on the east side of Lousiville, about 45 miles from post called Scale Reproductions. He carries a good selection of all sorts of models and will have stacks of the latest kits. Sometimes he gets too many of the latest hot kit and will then cut the price low until he's moved the inventory.
If you see an older gentleman with long grey hair in a pony tail behind the register, that's the infamous Dan from rec.models.scale Dan's Mon-Key fame.
