well i finally finished my 3rd model, it was the merkava mark III which i bought in town a few weeks ago. the decals were tricky & the side ones fell off so i ended up just painting the markings on. the tracks went on easier than on the t-80b tank & the desert paint scheme seemed to work. the major issue i had with the kit was the tracks didn't meet with the front (bumper area?) of the tank leaving a big gap so i made a kind of roll bar, glued it on & hey presto the gap was filled. i'll probably try building the mark IV some day but for now i'm getting to grips with the panzerhaubitze 2000, the track & bottom half are finished already but i'll be spending quite some time on the painting as i want to get it as close to the real thing as possible = )
next up, a pzh 2000 - still sticking to 1/72nd scale = )
