Well, two days to go, time to tip the results for South Afrika 2010.

As it would be to extensive just to tip each result of the whole group stage in a bunch, let us do it for 1-3 days.

Feel free to tell who reaches the round of 16 - group by group.

And finally: Who gonna get the bone on July 11th? (Please state clearly one team only).

Well, Aussies, I agree: The red card was too hard, a yellow one would have been enough.

The tipps for Monday 14th.

Netherlands - Denmark 2 : 2

Japan - Cameroon 0 : 2

Italy - Paraguay 1 : 0

Marco I'm inclined to agree with you that it should have been yellow, but attempting a tackle from that far off the ball and behind, you are going to run the risk of a ref seeing something worse than it possibly was.
Credit where it is due, Germany played a great match and continually fed the ball in through our defensive line. We were in constant disarray at the back. Lucas Neill was sub-par.
I did think however that the missed handball would have been a crucial elfmeter and possible 2-1 with Australia playing better football at the start of the second half. This no doubt had Cahill hot under the collar, as did Neill's retaliatory jump into Klose for a poor first challenge.
I can't help but feel that we are putting all our eggs into the remaining 2 group stage match up basket considering th line up we went with...
Will be interesting nonetheless!

That would be very good of Luis. Very gifted player if only he would not do these theatrical dives so often... I'm a big Ajax fan but it gets a bit tiring to see him go to the ground like a swann.
Still as you see I have put in a win for the Bafana Bafana. This is purely based on the promise of the SFA coach that they are going to play differently in a way we have never seen before... It can go both ways really. Let's see how it turns out.

Yesterday I have heart firsthand for the very first time one of these Vuvuzelas right in front of my door when a stupid little child ran with it along the street.

Since then I knew that it would not become a good day...

Jim guessed the second match correctly (Sorry, but this time your beer is only luke-warm because I forgot to put enough in the fridge - have been too busy with yesterday's match.)

My prediction: the World Cup will be won by a team of blokes in shorts who ought to be old enough to know better and are paid far too much.
