Hi Lisa,
Thanks for your services none of the stuff was mine but I'm sure guys here will let you know if it's theirs. Did 1 of the photos say that you purchased a kit? Are you gonna built it. I'm sort of a newbe here and haven't seen to many females on this site. Sometime its good to get a women point of view.

thanks guys it was a great show & something completely new to me, the detail in the models was amazing = )

oh the kit i bought was the "Vimpel Russian Anti-terrorist Unit" by Zveda but i built a tank the day before the convention, it went by much quicker than i expected. it & was even painted fully in an hour or so but then it was quite small, the tracks were the hardest part. i took some pics of them too & put them on the same site - models so far - , they are ok but i plan on doing a much better paint job on the next kit (probably a merkava III). i have my eye on the "Chinese DF21 Ballistic Missile Launcher mounted on Truck by Trumpeter" but the guy in the shop reckons it would take weeks to build so i'm not 100% sure, it was the biggest box i saw = )

its chinese but i'd give it russian markings/paint etc = )

Hi Lisa,

Welcome to modelling, the site and hopefully the IMSS!

Thanks for taking the pictures and posting them. It was a great show, with some superb kits. It was particularly good this year in that so many new entrants participated and joined or are joining the club!

Roy, it was great to see you there mate, you Irish armour and figures were a fantastic addition to the show! Welcome aboard, and see you next week at the club!

Hi Lisa. Welcome to Armorama and thanks a million for the photos from the show. Have never attended the show, but it warms the heart to see how much coverage the IMSS has been getting these last few years. Hope to plan a trip home some year to coincide with this. Nice one.

Hi Lisa,

Great photos. I wasn't at the show myself but your shots really come to life. Thanks for bringing the show to those of us who weren't there!

Good luck with the build!

Hi Lisa and welcome to Armorama.

Thanks for the pics. I didn't make it there this year but it looks like a better turn-out that last year.

That's quite a collection you've built up in a short time and they look very good. If I can suggest you try and learn at least 1 new trick on each build and here's mine: seam lines! On the rear oil barrels the seam or joins should be sanded before painting. Being a girl, you can use an emery board ;-) You might also want to have alook in Easons at the modelling mags. My favorite is Fine Scal Modeller, but they are all full of useful info and tips. And of course this forum is the best place for info and help.

Good Luck,
Sean

Hi Glen. Good to see you here as well. Erik Von Rosen had contacted me about travelling to this one, but I was already home for 2 weeks at christmas, so I couldnŽt afford to travel again. Im already planning for next year .. planning my trip home to coincide with the IMSS. Hopefully everything goes as planned, IŽll be seeing yis all in 2011!!

Hi Lisa

Thanks for posting the photos, I saw some of mine in there, Fire Engine, UN APC, Russian Snipers and Stryker M1126 were mine. I have to say you take a great photo, i like the B&W one of the M1126 Stryker, had to look twice it looked so real!! Photo is better than the real thing! First time to enter IMSS Competition learned a lot and met some great people. A worthwhile weekend! Thanks again for posting the photos

Alan.
