Check the forum FAQ at the bottom of the page. Need to get 50 b4 you make Seaman Apprentice.

It may be worth mentioning, and I'm not sure if this is covered in the FAQ, that posting to certain discussion groups does not add to rank-post count. Also, posting for rank is not encouraged - by that I mean making posts simply for the sake of upping your rank.

Good point Rudi. The post should have some meaning to the topic of the tread, like encouragement, complements, helpful suggestions, or something like that.

I have a question on ranks. I selected the US Air Force rank structure. The FAQ shows the min to be 50 and the max to be 99 to obtain a rank indicator. Kitmaker shows 75 post and Armorama shows 59. I also understand that some post don't count.
How can I tell if I have not yet meet the requirements for rank?
P.S. I'm not posting for rank, just wondering what is happening.
