I just want to ask if LED's and light bulbs look good on a model. I'm doing a Gundam model and I wanna put lights on its head to make the eyes glow. Will it look better or should I stay to the old process of modeling?

I used LED's, both flashing and non, in the egg on Halcyon's original ALIEN WARRIOR (like just building the thing wasn't work enough, I had to clean out the edges of the egg lips and install a light diffuser and wire the egg up.) kit and they looked pretty cool. The good thing about LED's and plastic is the lack of heat and they last next to forever. A simple battery hook-up will power them. I got mine at a local Radio Shack store. I'm sure you must have something similar where you are.

I put lights in a model, HEMTT. It was a pain to get them in there and wired up but the overall thing was pretty cool

Ok, one last question: My bulb emits blue color. How can I make it turn yellow? Or should I buy one?

Well if its a led you cant change it. if its a bulb then is it colored or is it a xenon bulb. with mine I just bought regualar clear bulbs and for the orange one I just painted the cover that came with the model.

IIRC, some LED's will change color if you reverse the polarity. Other than that, you'll need to get a different LED.
