I bought a Trumpeter Geschutzwagen Tiger fur 17 cm Kanone 72 (Sf), kit #00378. It had some deformed parts to begin with that after a year I have given up hope to get replaced. Both contacting Trumpeter and the US distributor (forgot the name offhand)multiple times has been fruitless despite filling out forms for and talking to people at the latter.

The kit is mostly assembled and painted. I bought an aluminum barrel, a PE set, and Friuls for it so I don't want to scrap it to say nothing of the large amount of paint it took and the hassle I went through in finding more (Life Color). I don't want to drop the $100 +/- for a second new kit unless that's my only recourse. I really don't want to scratch build the parts because a few are a bit complex (suspension and engine components). In the interim one of my cats (and I know who the guilty one is!)has chewed up a few more parts: the corners from the hull side plates that cover the gun, a few road wheels and the plastic hubs, and the delicate structure at the rear with the support plate. I am not sure he didn't carry some stuff off).

If anyone has one that's not quite complete, started or otherwise that needs a new home please contact me. If it's fairly incomplete I can list the parts I need in a separate email or something.

I would also consider buying one or possibly trading something for it. I've got a sizable stash and there are a few pieces I would part with.

I ordered another one of these this morning. It was a damned if I do and damned if I don't situation. This was such an expensive kit to begin with I really doubted anyone had a partial or cheap one. I have so much tied up in AM parts I'm obligated to finish it.

Anyway, since I will have yet another partial kit I'd still be interested in a partial one to complete it or in a cheap entire one. For a partial I need only the vehicle's hull and suspension parts. I need nothing at all for the gun, gun cradle or ground stand. I don't even need the tracks

At least with a second one I will have the complete cannon I could transplant to another model or make stand-alone!
