Hello everyone after a long 3 year break from modeling i decided to pick up where i left off. I've builst a couple wooden 17th century ships from kits and now i wanna try scratchbuilding a ship so if you guys have some tips or articles on how to start.

There are a couple of people over at MSW who scratchbuild their ships but I can't remember who they or find their blogs. You might ask around at MSW's Carpenter's Shop to see if they'll respnod to you. They are way way more experienced than I am.

Thanks thats a nice first attempt what i'm thinking of trying is scratchbuilding a 17th century ship totally out of wood

I don't know anyone who has scratched one from wood. I have been planning on scratching a wooden ship for awhile now, but it will be some time before I can get around to trying it.
