Hello folks, just wanted to let you know I just finished a book called The Ultimate Battle, written by Bill Sloan.
The book dealt entirely with the battle for Okinawa. This has to be one of the best books I have read to date on any theater in WWII. First hand accounts from all Branches of the Military involved with the battle made you feel like you were there. I had a very tough time sitting still as he recounted the kamikaze attacks on the naval forces...I highly recommend this one..
