Hi
could someone please help? I am looking for some ideas on making realastic explosions and smoke clouds for a diorama 1/35 scale.

Hmm, perhaps you can use cotton wool or something like this, and spray paint it in the needed colors.
Some time ago I found a webpage for this effect, but can not find it anymore.

For the creation of fire you can use melted clear plastic.

Hi,

Probably the best looking 'explosion' I have seen....

It is clump foliage (WS), glued to wire frame, sprayed black, dry brushed with a bit of gray. Notice there is some red dry brushing at the bottom as well.

So simple, so perfect!
