How do you make radios (Infrantry-carried) from scratch? Thanks for yur time?

It depends of what radio you mean. Usually for my AFVs I do them from balsa wood (covered in plasticard) or dompletely out of plasticard...

I have made molds of a few different radios so that I will have them when I need them. What type of radios are you looking for, and from what era?
