I have run into the following article about F4U Corsair restoration project in the local newspapers:

"...supporters of the plane's restoration say that about $250,000, and probably several years' work, will be needed to properly complete the display-quality restoration. Restoring it to flight condition would not be out of the question, they say, but that would cost more than $1 million..."
