Hi all. Does anybody have any idea at all of what shows are coming up in the UK?

Yes I know about them. Everybody knows about them. I meant local shows.

There is show on Sept 7th @ the Wycliffe rooms in Lutterworth Leicestershire. I got a flyer for it at a show in Milton Keynes. I believe it is run by the Leicestershire branch of the IPMS. If you need more info there is an e-mail address and phone number i can let you have.

Ok Twiggy, calm down. As my profile says, "Runcorn, Cheshire...." and therefore local would be.....? There ya go! I subscribe to all those magazines you mentioned, and regularly read others, and they don't always have the shows in them! Thanks anyway!

Im with you on this one Vinnie.
As I only subscribe to Tamiya magazine ( I dont think any of the others represent very good VFM), Im always the last to know when a show is in the area such as, I recall you posting about a show in Mancland a couple of weeks back only a few days after the event. I dont really have time to travel more than a couple of hours one way to a show and thus local shows are of most interest. Maybe someone could post a list e.g quarterly of upcoming shows/fairs for the UK?

Since we all read these posts and we're all scattered throughout the uk, why dont we all post as and when we find out. Then we have more chance of not missing out. Thats what this forum is for - shows. Who knows some of us may even meet up at a local show.
I'll have a look in my next issue and post what i see.

im in the Midlands is the IPMS at Telford this year? last time i went to it was when it was at Donington
theres a show at Baginton air musium Coventry soon not sure when
and theres the Town and country festival at stoneleigh near coventry(they have club displays there

hi , the only local show to the north west is the crewe show next year in feb, sorry to say but the clubs that used to hold shows at , liscard in the wirral near morton and the boat museum elsemereport and at blackpool have lost the use of the venues for various reasons. the nearest is again is elscar but that is not till nov this year i will post up the date nearer to the time , cheers ian
