I'll be there next week for some work,unfortunatly i'll miss duxford...arriving sunday night to UK.

I spent several years in Birmingham one week.... :-)
Actually, I found it fun to walk the casino clubs and visit the museums... quite a few model shops too, as I recall!

just dont even atempt to go on the motorway during the day this is traffic jam central in the
uk there is a few model shops in the area best bet is to visit

and put in the details for birmingham and model shops should give you a list of them
got to admitt the city is a site................BOMBSITE THAT IS! :-)

What can you do in Birmingham ?
There's a nice stroll along the canal, in the city center...
or you can buy indian food... and indian clothing...
I spent several weeks for work there and I was living in the indian/pakistani quarter.

Probably the best thing to do is to visit my brother, plenty of beer and a game of poker, plus you could check in on Armorama (No my brother and I aren't from Birmingham. Even if I was, I wouldn't own up to it)
ED Models, in Solihull is worth a visit. not the biggest shop in the world but has some good stuff.
