Hi all,
Has anyone bought a camera and/or accessories from one of the discount sites on the web that they would recommend? Alot of these places seem to be "fly-by-night", or they have "shadey" business practices. Just wondered if anyone had found one they trust.

Thanks,
Mike

I don't know if it's a discount place, but I often buy at Outpost. I found often the best prices around and I never had problems with it...

I can't speak for the internet sites specifically, but when I was reading photogoraphy mags, they often referred to gray market discounters. These people sell at lowball prices items which are not packaged for US sale and as such, carry no US warranty. If it breaks at any time, you're on your own. Sometimes, saving a few dollars just isn't worth it. If you are doing a lot of your research across the counter at local retailers, IMHO, it is unethical to then go and buy an item from an online/catalog dealer.
