Panther Tank tow cables

I need help,advice,ideas on how to fabrication tow cables for my 1/24 scale Bandai Panther. Right now I'm work order stoppage.

What diameter and length cable are you looking for ?.
One possible source for cabling is at Automotive parts stores, look for the cable for bonnet clip pins, another source is bicycle brake/gear cables (this will need annealing if you want to loop it).
