I dunno, but being new, I am asking if I am the only member here that has and has read the book Operation Broken Reed?

For those who do not know, unlike speculative nonsense, or wild claims teh author has seriously revealed some ercently declassified information about a black op's mission in North Korea during our conflict with those folks.

The interesting part is he only lived to tell about it because:

1. The "hit man" who was to take out the whole team at the end of the excersize got killed during the operation.
2. His C.O. kept them from finishing him off in the military hospital where they got rid of the only other sole survivor of this incerdible spy/recon mission

The scary part is where he personally had proof that we were indeed on the verge of WWIII, where if we did not "deal" with the North on their terms the Chinese had a secert air base just accross the North Korean border with Russian nuclear bombers and escort fighters ready to be launched if we crossed the 39th parallel again.

I found this much better then any war fiction novel.
