I caught this show on History channel last night following the late night showing of the 3rd AD. I was a bit amazed at the story about the soldiers in West Africa guarding the Rubber plantations and the trouble with VD. The solution of setting up the Shangrahla and Paradise Camps was amazing. One of those little tid-bits of history that almost get washed aside in the tide of the big picture. (of course it being classified until the late 80's may have had something to do with it)
