I would like to know if there are other sites that deal solely on 1/700th scale ship models?

None that I know of. The three biggest model ship sites I know are
www.modelshipwrights.com
www.modelwarships.com
www.steelnavy.com
All three are devoted to all major scales. 1/700 is probably the most popular, so there will be more info on that scale than for other scales.

Hi
1/700 is the thing I take most seriously in modelling so feel free to pm me and I'll see if I can help. Steelnavy is good for quick general questions and for more detailed answers, Modelwarships is best I find. You get a few jokers and spammers on Steelnavy but not on Modelwarships (well thats my observation anyways!)
thanks
Mike

You can PM me as well for advise on 1:700 scale ships. I mainly do ships from the WWII Japanese Navy.
