The Basement Presents Figure World

The Basement Forum is running an open day for modellers at The Eye of the Storm, Maelstrom Games, Mansfield, Nottinghamshire. The focus will be wholly on figure models of any scale, and any type – Fantasy, Historical or Sci-fi.

Groups, clubs and individuals are invited to attend the day and bring along finished or in progress models for the display areas. It’s a chance to mingle and talk to like-minded modellers from all levels and branches of the figure hobby, and to see what they’re producing.

Do you want to improve your figure modelling skills? Then why not come and see something “the same but different?”

The aim of the day is to get people together, to get them talking and sharing their methods and ideas, and to perhaps break down some preconceptions about other areas of the figure hobby.

Individuals are very welcome too, although please arrive early as display space might be limited.

There is limited free parking at Maelstrom Games and also a shop supplying various figures and accessories for figure modellers plus facilities supplying refreshments and snacks.

Special Guests……Well, we’d thought of one or two, but decided that we’d like lots of them. In order for that to happen, YOU, yes YOU will just have to turn up…..Because the Special Guests will be all the people who attend that are interested our hobby.
