Most of you have noticed my new "last post person to post" thread by now and I thank those of you who have chosen to participate in my silliness.

I have several other games that I will be running and hope that you guys enjoy them. None of them really have any way to be a winner it's just good clean fun.

I am doing this, because I have noticed a decided lack of silliness here recently. It is that silliness that attracted me to the DSB and I'd like to see it come back a little. Most of the games will require some amount of creativity and thinking on your part. Most of us in here should have no problem with it, though. I will only run each game for a limited amount of time as I don't wish to hose up Jim's database with huge threads of nonsense. (The board I got some of these from have them running indefinately and some of the the threads are 38+ pages long). After the game is over I'll have a Mod lock them (or delete them if they can) so that they can just go away and won't accidently be brought back to the top. Most of these are games I've played in real life that have been modified slightly for online use.

At least one of these will require a willingness to participate, meaning you can't just ignore it if you don't wish to participate. I will post about it a week or two before it begins so you can decide if you want to participate or not.

That's all. Just hold on and have fun. There is no telling what I may come up with in the future.

Well, the first one got pulled, so I won't be starting any more games. I'm not upset about it being pulled, but the others I have would probably get pulled as well.

I am a little upset that it's just gone. No final post and a lockdown or even a PM to me telling why it was pulled. I'm pretty sure I know the reason, but a little explanation would have been nice, but hey it's not my board.

There is a reason it was pulled, it just wasn't shared with us. It's not because someone doesn't want us to have fun. A long thread is a bandwidth killer and can play havoc with the database. I tried to restrict it by limiting the length to keep it from being to big of a burden on Jim's setup. It also could've been seen as a rank hunting thread, which was not my intention. Oh well.
