Hi, does anybody know whether it's alright to airbrush Future onto a model's canopy/glass parts? Does it leave a bad finish, or is it fine? Should I mask those parts off?
Any help is greatly appreciated!

You can used Future to dip clear parts into. And I have used it as a spray gloss coat on a car, so I don't see why you can't airbrush on clear parts.

I prefer to dip aircraft canopies and other smallish clear parts in Future, rather than brush or airbrush. Brett Green shows how:

I think this gives a more level application.

I've brushed it on to repair scratches, and to make up for a bad masking job on a coat of lusterless clear.

Okay, thanks for the advice! I already dipped the canopy in Future before painting, and I was going to apply it for a pre-decal coat. I'm glad that it's okay, so then I don't have to re-mask the canopy again.
Thanks again!

I have used Future around decals. The acid in many decal setting solutions will make the Future go hazy. Usually re-wetting the spots with Future after everyting dries makes the haze go away.
