OK, here's the lowdown....I've been asked to help sell off the collection of model kits aquired by another modeler ( deceased ).
We're talking about more than 750 kits here !
Most are 1/72 WWII armor kits in fine condition to mint in box.
My problem is...I'm not sure if their prices are where they should be to move the collection.
Can anyone lend a hand helping to catagorize the kit list based upon desirability ?
The plan is to sell the desirable kits at a fair rate...the less desirable at a lower rate and the least desirable at a very low rate....they really want to move this collection to you fellow modelers.
I don't plan on offering the list just yet, I really need to get a handle on what to expect cash wise.
Of course, anyone who is interested in purchasing the collection...feel free to contact me ! I'm sure that we can work out a deal.
Please, serious helpers only ;-)

Sounds like a big inventory but you're going to have to make a list anyway because it's needed.
First make your own list then research each one online for the average selling prices and availability

Ebay is your friend for something like this. Organize them into groups as best as you can, and sell them in "lots of 10" or similar.

You may want to see if any LHS in your area or online shops are interested in buying the whole lot for a lump sum. When you're dealing with a collection this large, with all due respect to the previous posters, researching prices and even selling in lots of a certain amount are a bit out of the question. If you tried to sell these one by one, it'll take a couple of years to take care of it all.
And even if you do choose to sell it all piece by piece, I'd say just price them all the same at a fair price, i.e. $10 per kit. At least that way you don't need to keep track of prices for every sale. Each sale should be for $10 or multiples of $10.

Your choices are slow and better or quick and not as good.
The LHS answer might work, but remember the owner will give you cents on the dollar because he or she has to make a profit on the sale. But you'll likely be able to get rid of the whole thing in one fell swoop.
If you want top $$$, you will have to do the research work yourself, auction them off, etc. You could try posting lots here.
