Hello Everyone,
I would like to try to cast a replacement Dragon T-34/85's idler wheel. what would be the best way to do this? A two peice mold or such? splitting the mold at the flat track edge or should stand up the wheel an cast as a one peice deal. If I do the one peice how do I attach to the base so I can mold the bottom of the wheel. I hope I have made things clear. Have an older resin cast kit and would like to try to make a part that I have lost rather than ask for one.

Thank you all in advance for you help,

Best,,
Walter

I applaud your efforts, but damn! I'd ask on the Buy, Sell, Trade forum if you haven't already. That said, I'll send you a Zvezda one free of charge if it'll help.

Hello Robert,
Thank you for the kind offer. I appreciate it. I would like to obtain a Dragon wheel or resin replacement as I will be giving this kit to a friend. I hope you can understand. I am searching for parts F2 and F4 from a Dragon T-34/85 or Su-85/100 kit. I would gladly reimburse postage and pay for the part if one could be had or trade part/s for these. If you know anyone or could pass this along to anyone that would be great.

Thank you again,

Best,

Walter

Hell man, I'll send those to you. Maybe I can find them later on from someone else when I finish the kit(s) whenever that might be. I have a self imposed deadline of 2017.
Send me your address. No postage necessary.
