I've just found out that this series is 140 week's long, issue 1 is 99p, thereafter its £4.99 p/wk.
Thats a massive total of £694.60 for what is a 1/16 static model of a Tiger 1

If you could afford it in one go you would be better of getting the Tamiya 1/16 full option kit for £499 and you get digital sound, gun recoil effects and radio control and a well made kit as well.
I had a look at the first issue and was un impressed with what was supplied with it.
for that money I would have expected a turned metal barrel and not the 3 part plastic jobby supplied.

Totally agree, I think its total cost is ludicrous in comparison to what you can get from Tamiya for around the same cost and even less, and its tracks don't look the right profile for an Ausf E but I could be wrong?

Hello guys!
Since it was only 50p I sprung for the first issue to see what you get. The parts were actually metal, something like the old Dinky toy stuff, which made it pretty difficult to assemble. The 4 parts were actually screwed together with tiny screws - fun. This then left a gap to fill in the barrel to get it anything like round. You get a nice DVD showing you how to put it together! The mantlet had convincing Zimmerit on it, but a pretty unconvincing moulded in machine gun. Like others have said, this is going to be costly - 140 weeks at £4.99 a week. What the others haven't pointed out is that you get internal detail as well, but I'm not guessing how accurate it will be. The other aspect of it is can you really wait 3 years to complete (now let me think, that's actually about my normal rate of progress!), putting together 4 parts a week! Regretfully, I won't be buying any more parts. Anyone want a 1/16th Tiger barrel?

This is going to sound like sacrilege but I think I would rather pay out for the 1/200th scale Yamato that is being released as a part work.

I'm wondering if the donor model was the FOV Wittmann Tiger, and just look at the prce difference.

I've started a website to address the accuracy on this kit.

Hi guys i have two mates who are buying this Tiger, and if you take out a subscription on it, then it works out at only a £10.00 a month so making it around £350.00 not bad for a 1/16th metal tank kit, [ according to them ]
As for me i will stick to my R/C boats.

Hi,
I recently finished the Flying Scotsman made by the same company.I have to say that the finished article looks very good ,but, some of the parts left a lot to be desired and I had to remake some as well.An expensive way to make a kit and for that reason I would not go for the Tiger much as I woild like it.
Cheers,Nolan.
