I've been out of model building for awhile.
Occasionally i browse here andsoem of the online stores to try to motivate myself to do some more building.
I tried searching for VLS, but cameup with an expired domain.
Did they go under?

The company itself no longer exists.

I work for Masterpiece Models who recently acquired the Custom Dioramics portion of the company line.

We are currently updating and refurbishing some of the existing pieces from the range while also adding some exciting new items. Look for many of these kits to be released early 2010.

MMD Squadron bought out VLS and all their lines, including Warrior, and Custom Dioramics.

Did Squadron then sell the CD line to Masterpiece Rick??

First I had heard of it, the guys at Squadron were pretty excited about the CD line, at least that is what they told me, and that they had plans to update and put out more in the line.

Maybe that fell through?

Squadron did purchase a good portion of the VLS/Warriors product range - including all of the Warriors figures.

Masterpiece Models aquired the diorama portion of the line (masters and molds). Since aquiring the line this past fall we have been working to update some of the existing kits with extra details, as well as creating brand new kit addtions to the line.

We are hoping to have a number of these kits ready for release in February.
