My name is Jim aka rowdycat.
I started modeling cars in 1959. (seriously, the AMT instructions were in Latin). Started modelling 1/35 armor in 1990. Seen a lot of incredible improvments since then. I love the hobby and have a good since of humor. Right now I'm converting a 1/35 Heller R 35 to a 1/16 Panther. It's a lot of work and there aren't many conversion kits.
Just kidding. If I can be of help, just holler at me.

Hey Rowdycat. Im one of the old , old guys. When I started modeling the directions were chiseled on the side of boulders. Pretty good at it but not quite a master like some of these guys. Welcome aboard , lots of models and opinions to share . Lots of good helpful folks here. ..............Al

This is a great place to gather and converse about all the things that make this hobby so great.

I would like to encourage you to check out the campaigns and enjoy a build. We will help you whenever we can. The people here are really a great bunch. There are a lot of people here who really know their stuff. It is nice to have another member with a wealth of knowledge.
