How should I go about scratchbuilding this Boomerang sniper detection device? I am really inexperienced when it comes to scratching but Ill give it a try.
Thanks
Evan

hey Evan.

That`s an easy one and a great piece too learn to sqratchbuild.
hmm..let see how to explane..

I wouldt use evergreen and brass wire too build this one..

Take rod the size from that big round thing on top.
cut him to height...
drill a hole in it the size from his pole.
glue a pole in it.
stick it in a mototool and sand it down to to form it has on the picture.
cut the pole off, and now drill (as far as I uderstand the picture) two small holes in to it.
Also drill two holes in the cut-off pole and use epoxy to glue 2 brass poles in it.
glue (epoxy)the sanded round thing in the 2 brass poles.

Do the same with the three poles on top and with the cirkel at the bottom.
Ill hope you understand..
Also I wouldt look for a better more detailed picture

greetings

I thought of using one of these small round legos as the base. Turn it upside down and sand off the LEGO on the bottom. Then attach the "microphone" things.

I think that LEGO piece is a good idea, but, will it accept glue? CA or other? Maybe make a resin copy of the LEGO and use that. Then, the big ring looks like the separator ring between the two halves of a click-top, ballpoint pen. Some old PE fret and some wire.

Totally possible!
You can do it!
