Hi my name is mike and iam returning to my childhood love of modeling.. I have a eight wheeled APC Iam working on and iam looking for some tips on how to give the tires a more weighted look. someone gave me the idea to set the wheeles on a hot fry pan and let the plastic start to soften and apply a little pressure to give them a flat spot look... if anyone has any other ideas pleaselet me know....

A little more info might help , Mike. What kit do you have ? What scale ? There's alot of aftermarket tires in resin and plastic availiblle. Some " weighted" ,some flat ,and some ie for the Greyhound AC, with tire chains Jim

I've tried the frypan approach and it works well.
