In your opinion, what is the best decal softening/setting solution on the market
for smooth and Zimmeritt textures.
Micro Sol-Set or Solvaset Etc?

Hey there...
I have used both, in my opionion for decals over irregular surfaces, you can't beat solveset.
The main thing to remember is, that its pretty powerful stuff.. after applying it don't touch it untill it dries or you will destroy your decal. some very rough surfaces may require more than 1 application.
This is a pic from one of my builds from a few years back..i t shows the decals snugged down into the corregated side of the plane.. a ford tri-motor.... sprayed with future, then the decals applied with solveset..

Thanks Gents, I've used Micro sol/set on a Tank and it worked out well after several coats. I've read that solvaset is powerful and should be diluted for use on new style decals (what ever that means).
Happy Holidays and thanks for the feed back you Rock!

I use Micro Set/Sol as well, very good, but plastic needs to be protected before use. You should use which ever you like best, but sometimes these solutions take time to become familiar. Maybe you should try a few and find which you like. Hope this helps
